Note: Full reverse polarity protection of the entire power system can only be achieved when using the optional non-polarized capacitor. The standard ESC is equipped with capacitor that is not protected against reverse polarity. If the battery is connected incorrectly, the capacitor may be damaged; however, the ESC itself will not be affected.
